All ticketks must be validated at the beginning of the joutnery and, except for single journey and time-slot tickets, on each means of transport used.
In case of lack or failure of the marking machine, please contact the conductor for validation. If is required to fill in his/her personal data on the ticket, could be asked to to show a valid ID by the staff.
In case of tempering with the data indicated, the traveller will be considered without a ticket.
Extra-urban ticket Naples
For journeys with departing or arriving in Naples or for journeys between two municipalities other than Naples, but with transit or interchange in Naples:
Single company trip: the ticket is valid for a single trip on a single vehicle of a single transport company, until the user gets off the vehicle. In case of stamp on the ground, the ticket is valid 90 minutes from validation. If the ticket expires on board the vehicle, the user can arrive at destination.
Extra-urban tickets for other municipalities
For journeys between two municipalities other than Naples without transit or interchange in Naples:
Single company trip: a single trip can be made using a single vehicle of a single transport company. The ticket is valid for one journey, until the passenger gets off the vehicle. If the ticket expires on board the vehicle, the user can arrive at destination.
Extra-urban tickets Naples and/or other municipalities
Integrated ticket: One or more journeys can be made using one or more transport companies (between the companies involved in tariff integration) within the defined time validity and kilometric range.
Within the Municiapality of origin or destination, it allows an unlimited number of journeys on buses but just one journey on each railway infrastructure. The ticket is valid from the first validation - validate the ticket before starting the journey – until the expiry of the defined time validity: on expiry of the latter, the ticket is considered no longer valid and the user is liable to penalty.
Monthly ticket: with this ticket, corporate or integrated, passenger can make an unlimited number of trips using the same company (corporate monthly ticket) or more transport companies (company pass) and it is valid until 24:00 on the last day of the calendar month of reference. For printed tickets, owner is obliged to fill in the personal data on the ticket (name, last name and date of birth).
Annual: with this ticket, corporate or integrated, passenger can make an unlimited number of trips using the same company (corporate monthly ticket) or more transport companies (company pass) and it is valid for 12 consecutive months from the first day of month of validity until the last day of the month of validity.
Monthly and annual season tickets, within the time validity and fare category, allow an unlimited number of journeys from the Municipality of origin to the Municipality of destination (and vice versa), including the related services in urban areas (i.e. within the Municipality of origin and destination).
Tickets Napoli – Caserta – Benevento
For journeys within the Municipality of Caserta and Benevento and within the Municipality of Naples, are applied the fares listed in the fee schedule.
The urban Caserta/Benevento fare class is applied to journeys with origin and destination within the urban and suburban areas, made up by the main Municipality and the following municipalities:
Suburban area of Caserta: Casapulla, Casagiove, Castel Morrone, Curti, Macerata Campania, Maddaloni*, Marcianise, Portico di Caserta, Recale, San Marco Evangelista, San Nicola La Strada, San Prisco, San Tammaro, Santa Maria Capua Vetere*, Valle di Maddaloni. The time-slot ticket allows to operate a single journey on each of the following routes/sections: RFI/EAV Caserta Santa Maria Capua Vetere Anfiteatro section; RFI Caserta - Maddaloni Inferiore section; RFI Caserta - Valle di Maddaloni section; RFI Caserta - Marcianise section.
Suburban area of Benevento: Apollosa*, Castelpoto, Ceppaloni, Pietrelcina, San Giorgio del Sannio, San Leucio del Sannio, San Martino Sannita, San Nicola Manfredi, Sant'Angelo a Cupole. The time-slot ticket allows to operate a single run on the EAV Benevento – Tufara Valle.
*For company tickets, the municipalities served are shown in bold.
The Urban Naples fare class is applied to journeys with origin and destination within the City of Naples.
Single company trip: a single journey can be made using only one vehicle from a single transport company. It is valid only for travel within the City of Naples. There are two kind of service:
- urban bus service, undergroud/metro line and funicular € 1,10
- suburban or suburban bus services (that also provide urban service) railway service on EAV or RFI € 1,30
The ticket is valid for one trip, until the passenger gets off the vehicle. If the ticket is validated on the ground, the journey must begin within 90 minutes of validation. If the ticket expires on board, the passenger can travel until destination.
Time-slot integrated ticket: one or more journeys can be made using one or more transport companies within the defined time validity. When the time expires, the ticket is considered no longer valid and the passenger is liable to penalty.
In addition, within the defined time validity, it allows an unlimited number of trips on buses, trolleybuses and trams but just one trip on each of the following lines: Line 1, Line 6, each of the 4 funicular, Cumana, and Circumflegrea, railway link, ad EAV - ex Circumvesuviana – lines.
In Montesanto station the passenger can take the Cumana line and the Circumflegrea line as long as he does not pass trough the gates.
In Porta Nolana station and Garibaldi the passenger can take the EAV –ex Circumvesuviana line as long as he does not pass trough the gates.
Daily ticket: with this ticket, corporate or intergrated, the passenger can make an unlimited number of trips using the same company (company ticket ticket) or more transport companies (integrated ticket) and it is valid until 24:00 on the day of validation. The holder must indicate the date of use, the name and the date of birth in the spaces provided.
Weekly ticket: with this ticket, company ticket or integrated, the passenger can make an unlimited number of trips using the same company (company ticket) or more than one transport company (integrated ticket) and it is valid until 24:00 of the Sunday immediately following. The holder must indicate the date of use, the name and the date of birth in the spaces provided.
Monthly ticket: with this pass, company or integrated, the user can make an unlimited number of trips using the same company (company pass) or more transport companies (integrated pass) and it is valid until 24:00 on the last day of the calendar month of reference. The holder must indicate the date of use, the name and the date of birth in the spaces provided.
Annual ticket: with this pass (available only on magnetic card, company or integrated), the user can make an unlimited number of trips using the same company (company pass) or more transport companies (integrated pass) and it is valid for 12 consecutive calendar months from the first day of the month of validity until midnight on the last day of the month of validity. The holder must indicate the date of use, the name and the date of birth in the spaces provided.
