CAMPANIA EXPRESS 

The Campania Express is a fast and comfortable train that connects the centre of Naples with Sorrento, the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum and Monte Faito, connected to the sea by EAV's spectacular cable car.

One of the most beautiful itinerary in Italy with 8 daily trips, including holidays, to the most beautiful places on the Sorrento peninsula and stops in Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and S. Agnello.

SERVICES

 

Trains with reserved and booked seats, all air-conditioned and on-board and station reception services (hostesses/stewards) useful to improve the enjoyment of the journey and the touristic heritage.


BUY ONLINE 

Starting from this year it is possible to purchase the journey and reserve seats on CAMPANIA EXPRESS trains by planning the trip from any city in Italy, by the OTS EAV sales portal directly from the Trenitalia website. Once connected to the platform it will be sufficient to select the fare "Trenitalia customers (only with valid ticket)" to purchase with the discount reserved to Trenitalia users, which is currently 10% for all destinations.

  


BUY AT THE STATION

Campania Express tickets are also available for Trenitalia users at the EAV Infopoints in Garibaldi - Naples Central Station, Porta Nolana and Montesanto. To take advantage of the discounted fare reserved for Trenitalia users, please show your Trenitalia ticket upon purchase.

It is also possible to purchase tickets, without seat entitlement, in the twenty minutes before the departure at the EAV ticket offices of: Ercolano - Pompei Villa Misteri - Vico Equense - Sorrento – Sant’Agnello, Meta, Castellammare di Stabia, Napoli Porta Nolana and Napoli Piazza Garibaldi.

The ticket provides the possibility of :

- make the return journey on a different date from the outward journey.

- on the scheduled date for the journey (outward or return), to get off at the intermediate stops and resume the journey with another Campania Express ride. In this case, the reservation does not guarantee seat availability on the intermediate routes.


BOARDING

Users with a TRENITALIA discounted ticket will be required to show their Trenitalia ticket for a journey made no earlier than 24 hours before boarding.


ACCESSIBILITY

Passengers with motor disabilities must go to the Napoli Porta Nolana station and turn to the Info Point for the access to the platform.

Please note that Naples Garibaldi, Ercolano and Sant'Agnello stations ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE, while Castellammare and Pompei Villa dei Misteri stations are only accessible in the direction of Sorrento. Passengers with disabilities coming from Sorrento and going to Meta or Piano can ask by telephone to stop their train at the platform next to the traveller’s building by calling the number +39 081 7722432 - at least 20 minutes before the departure of the train.

REFUNDS

In the event of cancellation of services due to causes imputable to EAV S.r.l., it will be possible to get a full refund of the ticket by accessing the support page: filling in the form and indicating the alphanumeric code of the ticket (Security Code).


COMPANY COVID FREE

EAV is the first public transport company to vaccinate all its staff in the Vaccine Centre set up in the Porta Nolana station.

In addition, for CAMPANIA EXPRESS, reserved lanes and channels are guaranteed for passengers boarding and disembarking in the stations. With these measures, as well as the regular and continuous sanitization of our vehicles, we are able to offer a comfortable and safe service in every ways.
